Breast Imaging and Breast Implants

All patients with breast implants should continue to have breast checks for breast cancer as well as to assess the integrity of the breast implant using regular breast imaging. Patients are encouraged to  do regular breast screening. 

However, many patients prefer using other forms of breast imaging such as breast ultrasound and breast MRI to avoid the compressions from a mammogram. 

Dr Cheung provides regular breast checks for patients with breast implants and will help patients work out the best way to monitor their breasts.
